About

Six years serving Nakuru — and still counting

Terrabalpha was founded on one simple conviction: local businesses deserve local service, not a call-centre script.

Who we are and what we actually do

Terrabalpha is a Nakuru-based local business that provides appointment scheduling, product sourcing, on-site service visits, and ongoing support to residents and small businesses across the city. We opened our doors on Kenyatta Avenue in 2018 with a team of four and have grown carefully — never faster than our quality could keep up with. Today we handle dozens of service requests each week for a client base that ranges from individual households in Milimani to hardware traders in the industrial area. Our indigo-accented office is open Monday through Saturday and serves as both a walk-in point and our operations hub. We are not a franchise, a platform, or a marketplace — we are a team of people you can actually meet, in a building you can find on a map, solving problems that are real and local. We don't outsource any client-facing work; everyone who handles your request is a Terrabalpha staff member working out of Nakuru.

How we work — and where we won't overreach

Our process is deliberately simple. You contact us, we assess what you need, we give you a clear price and timeline, and then we deliver. If something changes along the way — a supplier delay, a schedule clash — you hear about it from us immediately, not after the fact. We keep a service log for every client so returning customers never have to re-explain their situation. Where we shine: time-sensitive appointments, sourcing items within the Kenyan supply chain, and service visits within a 30 km radius of Nakuru CBD. Where we don't operate: we don't do large-scale construction, long-distance freight outside our delivery network, or services that require specialist professional licences we don't hold. We'd rather point you to someone better placed than take on a job we can't finish properly. Our values aren't a wall poster — they're the reason a client who first booked in 2019 still calls us first in 2024. Honest work, clear communication, and showing up when you say you will: that's the whole model.

The numbers behind the name

Founded in 2018

Six years of uninterrupted operation in Nakuru, through a pandemic and two major market shifts, without a single year in the red.

Team of 9

A small, stable team where every member handles client communication directly. You're never speaking to a stranger when you call us the second time.

30 km service radius

On-site visits reach from Nakuru CBD out through Njoro, Molo Road, and the Lake Nakuru corridor — most of the urban and peri-urban area you'd expect.

“I've dealt with a lot of local operators over the years. Terrabalpha is one of maybe two that I'd recommend without hesitation. They told me upfront that a particular item would take four days — it arrived in three. That gap between promise and delivery, in a good direction, says everything.”
